He formerly worked at Combustion Engineering where he was a member of the structural analysis group responsible for performing load analyses of nuclear reactor internals subject to seismic and loss-of-coolant events.An ASME fellow, he has served on the societys Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code committees. He currently serves on ASMEs Council on Standards and Certification as well being a member of the Board for Pressure Technology Codes and Standards, among others.
